Traveling as Couple
reasonably clean.
I was only staying one night and need an economical hotel. The hotel was reasonably clean but the blanket on the bed had several cigarette burns, even in a nonsmoking room, and the sheets on my king sized bed seemed to be for a queen sized bed and the mattress pad for a twin. Traveling as Couple
The manager was not accommodating when we asked to be moved out of the smoking room and claims that is what we requested. I was not given the option when making reservation to choose between smoking and non-smoking rooms. He did run a room freshener for 30 minutes, but the walls and linens still smelled like smoke. This hotel is a great place to spend the night. Everything was comfortable, quiet and well maintained. Not a vacation spot but can't be beat if you need a nice place to just sleep, shower and relax.

Family with Young Children
We stayed here for the convenience of not having to drive a great distance the next day from home. I have a family of 6 (one teenager and 3 smaller children) and was delighted to find the rooms were huge. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Other than confused counter help, the hotel was fine; lobby is too noisy to surrounding rooms. Should get rid of ice on sidewalks (liability).

What you would expect. Pretty basic accommodations. Wireless internet coverage kind of weak and spotty. Cable TV had a lot of fuzzy channels. I stayed for 3 days. Adding an extra day at the same price was no big deal, just called the front desk. Clean rooms, bathrooms, and they didn't bother me every five minutes about check out time. For some reason they never refunded my safe fee of $1/night that I had agreed to store my laptop and mp3 player in while I was gone. Not cheap but a pretty good value. ...read more
